Job Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead / Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and fresh produce processing operations in both ambient (normal temperature) and frozen (-18°C) environments.
The role is responsible for order execution, manpower coordination, production planning, food safety compliance, and team supervision to ensure timely and quality delivery for B2B customers.
Working Arrangements
Shift Options:
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM x2
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM x1 (Frozen Warehouse)
Working Hours: 12 hours per shift
Work Pattern: 6 days work, 1 day rest
Salary Payout: Monthly Basic Salary + Fixed Allowances + OT Allowances + AWS + VB
Work Location: Warehouse environment (Ambient or Frozen, depending on assignment)
Shift and schedule may be adjusted based on business and customer requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Order Execution & Production Planning
Execute daily B2B customer orders accurately and on time
Allocate manpower and processing tasks efficiently
Prepare daily and weekly production plans to ensure timely order fulfilment
2. Resource Coordination
Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials (e.g. packaging boxes, cling wrap, labels)
Ensure smooth workflow across receiving, processing, packing, and staging areas
3. Progress Monitoring
Monitor processing progress in real time
Identify and resolve operational issues affecting productivity or delivery timelines
Ensure smooth handover to the logistics dispatch area
4. SOP & Process Compliance
Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for:
Receiving and inspection
Washing, sorting, cutting, packing, storage, and handling of produce
Ensure compliance with internal operational standards
5. Quality Control
Conduct sampling checks on incoming raw materials
Perform 100% inspection of semi-finished and finished products
Remove defective products, foreign objects, or substandard items
Ensure products meet B2B customer requirements on freshness, specifications, and appearance
6. Food Safety & Hygiene
Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) requirements and relevant food safety standards (e.g. SS590)
Supervise personal hygiene, tool sanitation, equipment cleaning, and temperature control
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant processing environment
7. Documentation & Records
Maintain accurate and complete records, including:
Production records
Quality inspection checklists
Temperature monitoring logs
Ensure full traceability and audit readiness
8. Team Supervision & Task Allocation
Assign daily tasks fairly and clearly to team members
Communicate work standards, productivity targets, and safety requirements
9. Training & Development
Conduct on-the-job training for new and existing staff on:
Processing SOPs
Food safety and hygiene
Knife safety and equipment usage
Perform periodic competency assessments
10. Performance Management & Team Engagement
Monitor team performance and productivity
Provide constructive feedback and coaching
Foster a positive, disciplined, and collaborative team environment
Requirements
Prior experience in warehouse operations, fresh food processing, or cold chain operations
Experience leading or supervising a team is preferred
Comfortable working in ambient or cold (-18°C) environments, depending on shift assignment
Basic computer proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Excel, warehouse systems)
Familiarity with WMS systems and basic warehousing concepts is an advantage
Ability to communicate effectively in a work environment with diverse stakeholders
Strong coordination, execution, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work long shifts and rotating schedules as required
