Our client is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team!

Join our client's dynamic team at Admiralty, where you'll collaborate closely with the ID/Construction arms to assist in preparing and reviewing project requirements, cost estimates, and procurement schedules. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the sourcing and evaluation of quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and to monitor project budgets and costs under guidance.

What you'll be doing?

• Assist in preparing and reviewing: Project requirements, cost estimates, and procurement schedules.

• Support sourcing and evaluation: Quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Monitor project budgets: And costs under guidance, helping to identify cost variations.

• Support contract administration: Tasks, including progress claims and payment certifications.

• Maintain accurate documentation: Of contracts, quotations, and procurement records.

• Coordinate with internal teams: Suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project progress.

• Ensure compliance: With company policies and relevant industry standards.

• Undertake general and finance administration: Duties.

• Perform other ad hoc duties: Assigned by supervisors.

Who are they looking for?

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying: Or related field, candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply.

• 1 year of experience: In a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.

• Strong analytical skills: To prepare and review project requirements and cost estimates.

• Excellent communication skills: To coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Proficiency in MS Office: Particularly Excel, for data analysis and documentation.

• Attention to detail: To maintain accurate and organized documentation.

• Ability to work under guidance: And take initiative in identifying cost variations.
