As a Manager (Patient Billing) (Healthcare), you will be responsible for the following duties: 

• Obtain Letters of Guarantees (LOG) and MediSave approvals for patients staying short-term and for all new accounts within their first month

• Track the collection performance of both internal shared services and external agencies

• Assess collection data and develop strategies to enhance recovery from both individual patients and corporate clients

• Examine Letters of Guarantees (LOG) provided by companies and employers

• Assess requests for payment plans from patients and corporate accounts

• Assist with bad debt calculations and the analysis of receivables at month-end

• Refer appropriate cases to the Ministry of Manpower or legal departments for further action

• Offer system assistance, such as setting up new payor codes

• Conduct comprehensive testing of system fixes in a test setting prior to live implementation

• Engage in efforts to improve processes, IT projects, and other organisational activities
  

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or an equivalent professional qualification

• Preferably with 9 to 10 years of progressive, directly relevant experience within healthcare finance or revenue cycle management
