About the role

This part-time Logistics Permit Declarant (Weekend) role is an excellent opportunity to join the HS GROUP' team based in the Jurong East West Region. As a Logistics Permit Declarant, you will play a crucial part in managing the company's warehousing, storage and distribution operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and submitting accurate customs declarations and permit applications for all inbound and outbound shipments including IM, IG and ME Permits, etc

2. Liaising with regulatory authorities and freight forwarders to ensure the timely clearance of Air Cargoes

3. Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to all logistics activities

4. Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in the logistics process

5. Providing support to the wider logistics team as needed

6. You will work remotely from home

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a customs permit declarant role

2. Strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures

3. Mandatory to work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (3 days per week) and on Public Holiday

4. Proficiency in using TradeNet Portal, logistics management software and tools

5. Effective communication and collaboration skills

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
