Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) - #1132768

Responsibilities:

• Design temporary electrical installations within the capacity and conduct T&C for electrical installations

• Daily checking of electrical systems and troubleshooting of electrical faults

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment

• Provide support to the operational team related to all electrical power requirements on site

• Provide assistance and guidance in the temporary electrical and permanent electrical design

• Ensure compliance to statutory regulations, code of practice and the Company’s safety rules and regulations as well as SOP for electrical system work

• Supervise the work performed by subcontractors and inspect the electrical installations

• Supervise site electricians and coordinate with company staff on temporary electrical work

• Ensure temporary electrical installations follow SS 638 and SS 650 Part 1 and 2 standards

• Supervise the setup of the generator and DB installation

• Conduct monthly inspections of the construction company’s electrical tools

• Liaison with project team and authority and electrical submission QP

• Ensure timely completion of the work activities, according to the programme

Requirements:

• Diploma/Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering

• Possess Grade 7 Electrician’s Licence from EMA with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience

• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment

• Able to diagnose and rectify M&E faults independently

• Able to lead the Testing and Commissioning of electrical system

• Able to adopt electrical safe system works in the project

• Able to maintain documentation regards to ESSW system

• Familiar with ACMV, Electrical, Fire protection and UPS System

• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude

• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
