Bright Hill Evergreen Home
Job Description
Inquiry Management: Act as the professional first point of contact for referrals and charges; ensure all enquiries are logged and responded to in a timely, helpful, and professional manner.
Case Support: Collaborate with Medical Social Workers (MSWs) to facilitate smooth admissions and discharges by coordinating all necessary documentation prior to resident movement.
Financial Assistance (Internal & External): Lead the end-to-end processing for straightforward MediFund and MFEC submissions, ensuring financial assessments are comprehensive and accurate. Guide next of kin and facilitate application processes for external financial schemes (e.g., AIC grants). Take proactive initiative to follow up on missing documents to ensure applications move forward without delay.
Data Integrity: Maintain and audit multiple resident master lists. Perform regular data entry and compile simple statistics across various platforms to support management reporting and auditing requirements.
Administrative Support: Ensure reliable and prompt documentation of resident records, respecting confidentiality (PDPA) and healthcare audit standards.
Field Work: Participate in home visits and accompany residents for errands, providing clear, objective observational updates to the MSW team.
Job Specification
Education: Higher NITEC or Diploma in Social Service, Community Care, or a related field. (O-Level holders with significant relevant experience will be considered).
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary. Comfortable navigating spreadsheets and managing data across different lists. High degree of "systems agility" to learn and use national platforms (e.g., ECCare, AIC portals).
Communication: Effectively bilingual; ability to speak dialects (e.g., Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese) is highly desirable for communicating with elderly residents and their families.
Aptitude: A "right-first-time" mentality with a high level of attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to bring order to administrative backlogs and maintain organized systems. A proactive "ownership" mindset: identifying what is missing and closing loops without constant prompting.
Experience: Prior experience in healthcare or social service administration is an advantage. However, we highly welcome individuals with a strong learning agility and a proactive attitude who are eager to be trained in the sector.
