Test Engineer - #1132611

Our client is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Lead test activities: Guide a team of Associate Engineers and Technicians in conducting comprehensive test activities for server and rack products.

• Manage PXE server: Support and implement PXE Server configurations to ensure smooth product testing.

• Oversee testing processes: Perform and maintain server and rack run-in tests, as well as burn-in and power test processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders: Liaise with customers, HQ, and factory teams on test program implementation and maintenance.

• Analyze and improve: Test and analyze production failures, working closely with customers and HQ to drive continuous improvement.

• Contribute to efficiency: Participate in Kaizen activities to enhance overall production processes.

• Maintain documentation: Update test program master lists, tracking systems, and working instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Provide training: Offer comprehensive training on working instructions to production team members.

• Support new products: Assist with the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and support mass production runs.

• Ensure quality standards: Participate in ISO activities for implementation and maintenance of quality management systems.

Who are they looking for?

• Engineering background: Diploma in Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in server, rack, or manufacturing environments.

• Collaborative spirit: Ability to work effectively with customers, HQ, factory teams, peers, subordinates, and superiors.

• Technical expertise: Knowledge of SAP and Linux systems to support testing and production processes.

• Adaptability: Capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Testing proficiency: Good understanding of test methods and concepts to ensure product quality.

• Programming skills: Knowledge of programming and debugging to support test program development and maintenance.
