Operation Officer (East | Up to $2600) - #1132605

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle customers’ enquiries

• Liaise with officers from The Singapore Customs, shipping & forwarding company

• Knowledge of Tradenet and Airfreight booking system

• Prepare import and export airfreight documents

• Coordinate and prepare inbound & outbound airfreight shipments with carrier / customers / vendors

• Correspond with overseas suppliers regarding delivery status

• Liaise with internal and external customers and resolve operations issue

• Other administrative and ad hoc duties

Job Requirements

• GCE O/A Level/Cert/Diploma in freight forwarding/logistic

• Min. 2 years of relevant working experience from freight forwarding/logistic

• Able to work with initiative

• Knowledge in Dangerous Goods Regulations will be preferred

• Good customer service skills with excellent communication skills

• Proficient in MS Office with Tradenet experienced preferred

• Meticulous and accurate with a positive attitude and able to multi-task

• Able to work long hours when required
