M &E Engineer - #1132597

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement M&E systems in accordance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide technical support and guidance for IFM, IBC, and A&A projects.

• Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of M&E systems.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, fire, and building regulations for all M&E systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in mechanical, electrical, and building systems efficiently.

• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Review and evaluate vendor proposals, equipment specifications, and material submittals.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, method statements, and project progress updates.

• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance assessments of M&E systems.

• Track and report work requests, fault calls, and maintenance activities in accordance with client requirements.

• Support innovation and sustainability initiatives in building services operations.

• Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource planning for M&E works.

Requirements:

• Possess a recognized tertiary qualification (or equivalent), preferably a Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related built environment discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience managing large scale building project

• For Fire Safety Manager (FSM) responsibilities: minimum 2 years of relevant experience and compliance with qualifications required by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

• Strong leadership, technical, and project management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
