Project Site Engineer (MNC/LTA/MRT) - #1132486

Responsibilities:

• Oversee tunnel excavation operations using the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), managing machine control and guiding tunnelling crews during both excavation and ring-building stages.

• Maintain accurate site records such as excavated volumes, grouting logs, grouting pressure reports, and other construction activity reports.

• Develop method statements, safe work procedures, risk registers, tunnel progress reports, and other tunnel-related technical documentation.

• Lead and deliver presentations on tunnelling works prior to work commencement to ensure alignment and readiness across stakeholders.

• Plan, monitor, and track overall site progress, including manpower mobilization and equipment deployment.

• Perform daily inspections and provide close supervision of bored tunnelling activities, including excavation and tunnel ring segment installation.

• Coordinate and liaise with authorities, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance and site coordination.

• Manage and monitor additional tunnelling and civil workstreams such as RC works, QECP site activities, and quality assurance at the tunnelling zone.

• Prior experience in LTA (Land Transport Authority) projects, especially MRT or LTA rail infrastructure, will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in LTA, tunnelling, or MRT/MRT rail projects.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD drafting for construction.

• Must be able to produce and review drawings using AutoCAD.

• Able to work independently, strong communicator, collaborative team player, and comfortable engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels.
