About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Project Manager to join a leading construction firm in Singapore. As the Deputy Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of major construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of up to $10,400 per month.

Job Highlights:

• Salary: $5,800 – $10,400/month + Variable Bonus (annual payout)

• Work Week: 5.5 days (alternate Saturdays off)

• Location: Various project sites across Singapore

• Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in managing project progress, manpower and site operations.

• Plan master construction and catch-up programs.

• Manage site access strategy and crane installation/dismantling.

• Resolve drawing discrepancies and liaise with consultants.

• Prepare cost budgets, monitor preliminaries and manage subcontractors.

• Oversee scheduling, construction methods, and resource usage.

• Uphold safety standards and maintain quality control.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale building projects (residential, mixed-use, commercial, etc.).

• Must have completed at least one project cycle valued at $100 million or more.

• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

• Able to communicate in basic English (written and spoken).

• Willingness to relocate/work in Singapore

• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team/department will be an advantage

• Maintaining good relationship with stakeholders like consultant, clients and subcontractors will be an advantage
