Position Overview
As an Assistant Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Aftersales in overseeing daily aftersales operations to ensure excellent customer satisfaction, efficient workshop performance, compliance with manufacturer standards, and achievement of financial targets.
Responsibilities:
Operations & Workshop Management
Assist in managing daily workshop operations (service, repairs, diagnostics).
Monitor job flow, productivity, and turnaround times.
Ensure adherence to OEM processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Support scheduling, capacity planning, and technician utilization.
Customer Experience
Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Monitor customer satisfaction scores (CSI/NPS) and implement improvements.
Support service advisors in delivering transparent, professional service.
Ensure warranty, goodwill, and repeat repair issues are properly addressed.
Team Leadership
Support supervision of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
Assist with onboarding, coaching, and performance monitoring.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and a customer-first culture.
Step in for the Aftersales Manager when required.
Financial & Performance Control
Assist in achieving aftersales revenue, labor sales, and gross profit targets.
Monitor labor efficiency, productivity, and parts usage.
Control costs, comebacks, and warranty claim accuracy.
Support pricing strategies and upselling of value-added services.
Parts & Warranty Coordination
Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure parts availability and control.
Oversee proper warranty claim submissions and compliance.
Reduce warranty rejections through correct diagnosis and documentation.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and review daily/weekly performance reports.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and OEM audit requirements.
Support internal and manufacturer audits.
Key Skills & Experience:
3 to 5 years of automotive aftersales experience
Prior supervisory or assistant management experience
Strong understanding of OEM dealership operations
Excellent customer handling and problem-solving skills
Leadership, communication, and organizational skills
