Roles & Responsibilities

Position Purpose

Andes Consultants is an architectural repair and building consultancy firm for the built environment. We are looking for engineers to strengthen our team.

This position is suitable for engineers with a civil, structural, architectural, or building-related background, with opportunities to gain exposure to the building and property maintenance market

Duties & Responsibilities

The Engineer is responsible for supporting building inspection and report preparation for repair & repainting, rewaterproofing, building audit and site investigation projects.

Primary Responsibilities

•      Conduct site inspections and condition assessments of buildings

•      Assist in the preparation of technical inspection and progress report

•      Coordinate with contractors, managing agents and owners

Secondary / Support Responsibilities

•      Support roles in investigations, audits, and advisory assignments

•      Assist in development of AI-enabled inspection technique

•      Assist in developing inspection plans, checklists, and site workflows

Key Skills & Competencies

•      Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical documents, and reference materials

•      Clear communication skills for site coordination and report preparation

•      Background in civil, structural, architectural, or building-related disciplines

•      Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems is not compulsory, but will be considered an advantage

•      Willingness to learn non-destructive testing techniques like infrared scanning
