Job Description
This role is responsible for managing visa and immigration processes as well as some administrative support functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance to stakeholders and applicants on obtaining Singapore work passes/visas and assist in ensuring a smooth application process.
Stay updated on the latest Ministry of Manpower (MOM) guidelines and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
Oversee the end-to-end work pass/visa application process, including submissions, renewals, cancellations, and compliance with local employment laws and internal policies.
Liaise with MOM officers to resolve work pass-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
Manage inbound and outbound visa processes, including consultation, document review, and submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Develop and maintain customer relationships with Embassy of various countries in Singapore.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date visa records, system data, and documentation. Prepare reports, issue official letters, and develop guidelines and FAQs for visa-related processes.
Provide support for HR-related tasks, including employee orientation, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Supporting business units with various administrative tasks like organizing meetings, events, etc.
Candidate Requirement:
Candidate must possess at least a diploma at Human Resource Management, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent;
Minimum 3 years of experience in visa processing, immigration compliance, or HR functions.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proactive with a positive working attitude and ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint (strong presentation skills).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels.
A collaborative team player who can build strong relationships with stakeholders and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to communicate effectively with colleagues in the head office in China.
