We’re looking to add an Engineer, Manufacturing (PCBA) in Singapore. The position is based in our GES Site in Marsiling.
As a Engineer, Manufacturing (PCBA), you will:
Be responsible for providing technical and engineering supports for sustaining product manufacturing as well as supporting NPI, in meeting products’ specification, customer requirements and organization goals and objectives.
The key responsibilities are as below:
NPI Roles:
Assist to/execute Prototype builds, Pilot Build and Engineering build
Create and maintain Work/Manufacturing/Process Instruction
Establish and maintain PFMEA and Control Plan
Perform DFX (DFM, DFA, DFT)
Production line set up and qualification Production Line setup and equipment planning for new project launch, define manufacturing line layout, sourcing for tooling, fixtures and equipment and prepare CAPEX
Perform equipment/tester set up and validation/buy off for commissioning
New process development and qualification
Perform assembly/test cycle time and touch time analysis
Sustaining Roles:
Monitor, maintain and improve assembly/test first pass yield
Perform first level production line/equipment fallout verification to resolve line issues quickly without impacting production output and follow up until closure
Work with Product Engineer to have effective RCCA and resolution to product quality issues
Coordinate with cross-functional team to implement actions required to evaluate and qualify necessary manufacturing process, SW/FW, tester/equipment or product/component changes
Provide training to line operators and technicians on assembly and test
Keep shop floor MES up-to-date arising from changes
Rectify malfunctioned equipment/tester and ensure preventive maintenance is executed
Follow up on equipment calibration
Identify and work on Continuous Improvement such as First Pass Yield improvement, cycle time reduction, digitalization, waste elimination, productivity improvement, process automation and etc
Support VAVE activities and prepare FPY and RCCA report
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
Minimum Diploma in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA manufacturing
In-depth knowledge of PCBA processes and DFM requirements in PCBA manufacturing
Familiar with quality tools and techniques (Control Charts, Pareto Charts, Histogram, Cause and Effect Diagram, etc)
Familiar with Poka-Yoke assessment and implementations
Able to interpret GD&T on drawings
Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO13485 requirements. Knowledge in QMSR will be an added advantage.
Familiar with BOM structuring, Change Management, Yield reporting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and systematic problem-solving methodology and product life cycle management
Familiar with Kaizen, Lean and 5S+
