Mechanical & Electrical Drafter - #1131321

Exponent Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical & Electrical Drafter to join our team in the Bishan East Central Region. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our engineering department, responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics to bring our clients' projects to life.

What You'll Be Doing

• Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical and electrical systems, including equipment layouts, piping and wiring diagrams

• Interpreting design specifications, blueprints, and engineering documents to create accurate and detailed technical drawings

• Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings meet project requirements

• Maintaining and organising electronic drawing files and documentation

• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for engineering drafting

What We're Looking For

• Formal qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Drafting, or a related technical discipline

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering or construction industries

• Proficient in the use of CAD software such as AutoCAD

• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail to produce high-quality, accurate drawings

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines

• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
