LNG Shipping Operator - #1131268

Are you a meticulous and commercially attuned shipping professional with a strong background in LNG operations? Step into a key role with a leading European commodity trading house, where operational excellence supports global trading strategies. We are seeking an LNG Shipping Operator who will take ownership of day-to-day vessel operations, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure smooth voyage execution across multiple markets.

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Support vessel deployment planning and contribute to commercial optimisation strategies for a European commodity trading house
• Coordinate vessel schedules, monitor voyage progress, and ensure timely and efficient execution of operations
• Prepare, analyse, and present operational insights and voyage performance reports to internal management
• Oversee pre- and post-voyage activities, ensuring seamless communication between vessels, terminals, agents, and commercial teams
• Negotiate operational terms, service agreements, and commercial arrangements with external partners
• Address issues such as delays, claims, and contractual disputes, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities
• Provide guidance on loading, discharge, routing, and regulatory compliance to vessel teams and stakeholders
• Review proposals from service providers and evaluate operational support offerings for quality and cost effectiveness
• Maintain strong communication channels with traders, technical teams, and commercial stakeholders on voyage execution and operational updates

Requirements:

• Degree in Shipping, Logistics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in LNG vessel operations, voyage management, or operations
• Strong understanding of shipping operations and charter party terms
• This role is looking for someone already based in Singapore
