About the role

M&E Coordinator cum Drafter is responsible for coordinating all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works across the project to ensure design, installation, and commissioning meet project requirements and regulations. The role also involves preparing and updating M&E drawings using AutoCAD or other drafting software, coordinating between consultants, subcontractors, and site teams, and assisting in resolving technical and site issues.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate all M&E services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ACMV, fire protection, etc.) with architectural and structural trades.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to interpret design requirements and translate them into detailed design documentation

• Review M&E shop drawings and ensure they are in compliance with design intent, authority requirements, and project specifications.

• Monitor M&E installation works on site to ensure progress and quality meet project timelines and standards.

• Prepare, update, and maintain detailed M&E drawings (coordination, single-line, schematic, as-built, etc.) using AutoCAD or Revit. Ensure drawings are properly documented & filed.

• Provide technical assistance to the site team and subcontractors regarding M&E works

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, ensuring efficient and effective design processes

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination and drafting (preferably in building or construction projects).

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other drafting software.

• Good knowledge of M&E systems and construction processes.

• Familiar with local authority submission requirements (e.g. BCA, PUB, SCDF).

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
