Our client is looking for an ambitious and results-driven senior business leader to spearhead its Singapore subsidiary, serving as a regional headquarter. The successful candidate will drive significant business expansion, oversee full financial performance, and excel in securing large-scale contracts across both public and private sectors.

Strategic Mandate

• Scale the Business: Execute a growth strategy to multiply the country revenue by 5 to 10 times over the medium term.

• Market Dominance: Solidify the organisation’s position in the Singapore water/wastewater and industrial water markets.

• Regional Launchpad: Demonstrate success in Singapore to potentially expand the role into a broader ASEAN leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Aggressive Client Acquisition: Lead from the front in acquiring new business, specifically targeting large-scale infrastructure projects with PUB and high-value contracts with leading industrial clients.

• Bid Management: Take full ownership of the tendering lifecycle, including bid strategy, commercial pricing, and high-stakes contract negotiations.

• Strategic Networking: Build and maintain deep relationships with consulting houses, ecosystem institutions, and government stakeholders.

• Profit & Loss (P&L) & Operational Management: Manage revenue, margins, cash flow, and overall financial health of the Singapore entity.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of 150 staff, fostering a culture of high performance across sales, engineering, and project delivery.

• Execution Excellence: Oversee operational delivery to ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and execution excellence.

• Partnership Ecosystem: Strengthen strategic alliances with OEMs, technology providers, and other EPC players to enhance delivery capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering.

• At least 15 years of industry experience in the water/wastewater, desalination, or industrial water sectors.

• Proven track record in P&L leadership with a demonstrated ability to scale businesses significantly.

• Strong track record in sales, business development, and relationship management.

• Extensive experience handling complex bids and large-scale tenders in the infrastructure space.

• Experience in leading large, multicultural teams.

• Experience in PUB projects, procurement processes, standards, and approvals is a major advantage.
