About the role

Dong Jian (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join our team in the Springleaf North Region. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and execution of our construction projects. What you'll be doing

1. Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

2. Interpret and implement engineering plans, drawings, and specifications to guide the construction process

3. Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during construction

4. Conduct regular site inspections and monitoring to identify and resolve potential problems proactively

5. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the construction project

6. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field

2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry

3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment

4. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans, drawings, and specifications

5. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders

7. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

8. Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
