About the role

We are seeking an experienced Drafting Lead to join the team at Dong Jian (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a leading architectural and design firm based in the Springleaf North Region. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in the development and execution of complex architectural designs, overseeing the drafting process from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and coordinate the drafting team, ensuring all design drawings and documents are produced to the highest standards

2. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings

3. Review and approve all drafting work to ensure compliance with building regulations, project specifications, and quality control measures

4. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior drafters, helping them develop their skills and expertise

5. Implement efficient drafting workflows and processes to streamline project delivery

6. Oversee a group of drafter and deploy/ assign task

7. Plan & schedule deadline for drafting team on respecting site schedule

8. Check & comments on drawing before submitting

9. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural drafting

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural drafting, with a proven track record of leading a drafting team

2. Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, to produce high-quality technical drawings

3. Strong understanding of building codes, construction materials, and architectural design principles

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

5. Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines

6. Degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, or a related field
