Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electrical knowledge related to manufacturing machines, proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing CNC manufacturing machines to ensure optimum operation and minimal downtime, process some skills in inventory management and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members, keep accurate records of maintenance procedures, and adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance procedures on CNC machines to identify potential issues and prevent machine breakdowns.

• Diagnose electrical and technical problems in machines and equipment.

• Repair or replace defective parts, components, systems in order to restore machines to their proper functioning.

• Manage inventory levels, track supplies, and coordinate procurement of necessary parts and materials for machines.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating, greasing, and cleaning the machines.

• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts used.

• Collaborate with other team members and provide assistance and guidance as required.

• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• NITEC or equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience repairing CNC machines.

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and automation.

• Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving and repairing various machines and equipment.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Able to run rotating shifts.

• Basic computer skills for maintenance record keeping.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
