Field Service Engineer - #1130611

Overall Purpose of the Job

To provide primary technical resources for the field sales force, responsible for managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, and to provide effective and efficient troubleshooting of instruments, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products.

Key Accountabilities

1. To identify and resolve all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

2. To conduct preventive maintenance, respond to customers’ calls as and when required (including off-office hours) on problems related to instruments, troubleshoot problems on site, and resolve them to achieve customer satisfaction on instrument downtime.

3. To collaborate with sales to install and commission instruments at customer sites on time and meet customer satisfaction.

4. To keep abreast of product development through self-learning to achieve personal productivity in problem resolution.

5. To monitor spare parts inventory to ensure there is no delay in resolving problems due to spare parts, thus achieving customer satisfaction.
