We perform advanced surgical treatments, oncology, orthopedics, and wellness services. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to delivering the highest quality care and improving the lives of pets and their families.

We have all the usual equipment needed to provide the exceptional level of care our clients expect (including digital xray, in-house bloods machine, ultrasound, tonopen, endoscopy, dentals etc). We see exclusively dogs and cats only. Come work in one of the few ISFM Cat Friendly clinic!

About the role

As a Veterinary Nurse / Technician at Hope Veterinary Care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional animal care to our clients

Get to know the quirks & cuddles of our patients, and provide personalized treatments.
From checkups to advanced surgeries, be the hero pets deserve.
Share your knowledge with clients, making them feel like pet pros.
Collaborate with a tight-knit team that supports and high-fives.
Organise referral when we’ve done all we could!

What you'll be doing

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries

• Administering medications, vaccines, and other treatments as directed

• Performing laboratory tests and analysing results

• Monitoring patients and providing nursing care, including wound management and bandaging

• Educating clients on pet care, nutrition, and preventative health

What we're looking for

• Formal veterinary nursing or veterinary technician qualification ideal

• Entry level may apply and training provided.

• Strong animal handling and restraint skills

• Proficiency in such as venipuncture, catheter placement, and medication administration

• Excellent communication and client service skills

• Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure

• A genuine passion for animal welfare and providing high-quality care
