Responsibilities

• Perform data entry for purchases and sales and maintain accurate filing of related documents
• Prepare and process billing documents for trade transactions
• Coordinate with trading staff, customers, and vendors to ensure timely communication and support
• Manage performance tracking and reporting for trade operations.
• Ensure compliance with customs requirements, import/export restrictions, and other legal regulations
• Monitor and track shipments, addressing delays or discrepancies promptly
• Resolve issues related to shipping, customs clearance, and transportation
• Maintain accurate records of trade activities and generate periodic management reports
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in trade processes

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in trade, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese speaking clients and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of international trade laws, regulations, and policies (e.g., Incoterms, Free Trade Agreements).
• Familiarity with trade documentation, customs clearance processes, and logistics management
• Certification in Import/Export Operations is an added advantage
