About the Role

Our client is looking for a Robotics & Motion Control Engineer to join their team.
You will be responsible for developing Automation Control Software, Robot Programming, and supporting the full lifecycle of machine build, testing, and commissioning.
This is a hands-on role involving servo tuning, motion control, PLC integration, and ensuring optimal machine performance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse machinery process requirements and design control logic and functional workflows to meet operational needs
Program and configure industrial robots, embedded motion controllers, and PLC systems (experience with Beckhoff preferred)
Support teams during equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning phases
Set up and calibrate servo drives, sensors, fieldbus networks, and safety control modules
Develop and fine-tune motion and robot control programs to ensure efficiency, safety, and cycle-time compliance
Integrate robotic systems with controllers, vision sensors, and peripheral equipment
Maintain technical documentation, testing protocols, and provide ongoing support throughout the equipment lifecycle
Minimum Requirements
Exclusive for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) only
Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
Minimum 3 years’ working experience as an Automation Control Engineer, Robotics Programmer, or Motion Control Engineer
Strong PLC programming skills (Beckhoff preferred)
Hands-on experience with robot systems (Epson, ABB, Trio Motion Controller, Adept)
Knowledge of servo systems, embedded motion controllers, PLCs, fieldbus networks, and HMI/touchscreen configurations
Knowledge of vision systems (Keyence, Cognex) is a plus
