Job Summary:
Basic Salary: $4500 - $4800
Location: Mattar Road
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am - 6.30pm or 11am - 9pm
Annual Performance Bonus + Year-End Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
Residential Care & Shift Operations
Support Leads, Seniors, and Shift ICs to ensure duties are carried out each shift
Escalate incidents and serious matters to Head of Home when required
Vet and manage weekly FYS rosters, ensuring MSF care ratios are met
Arrange manpower replacements for medical or urgent leave
Ensure sufficient staffing levels for all shifts
Check medical supplies and department cash floats for accuracy
Staff Orientation, Training & Supervision
Conduct orientation for new FYS staff
Coordinate training and development to ensure job readiness
Supervise staff performance and provide regular feedback
Guide staff integration into organisational culture
Support disciplinary matters in collaboration with Head of Home
Staff Welfare, Coaching & Team Management
Support staff welfare and emotional well-being
Manage accommodation matters for foreign staff
Promote team bonding and a positive, safe team culture
Resident Discipline Management
Implement discipline policies and procedures
Supervise staff handling of resident behaviour issues
Chair and represent the FYS team in Discipline Committees
Ensure disciplinary actions are properly carried out
Manage escalations related to discipline matters
Planning, Administration & Compliance
Support development of team goals aligned with organisational direction
Assist in business continuity planning for FYS operations
Ensure documentation and compliance with SOPs and MSF standards
Ensure audit-ready records, including shift logs, medical, discipline, and safekeeping records
Review and submit incident and operational reports on time
Oversee upkeep of duty offices, Sickbay, Safe Room, assets, devices, and cash floats
Oversee medication dispensing, teleconsultations, and disposal of expired medications
Perform Fire Warden duties when required
Provide monthly operational updates and project status reports
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work, Community Services, or related field
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in residential care, youth services, social services, or institutional care settings
Prior experience supervising frontline staff and managing shift-based operations
