Position Summary

The HR Executive will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for assigned business units, while also supporting HR operations and employee relations matters. This role partners closely with hiring managers to deliver timely and effective talent solutions, and supports employees in alignment with Valiram’s Vision, Mission, Values (VMV), strategies, and business objectives.


Key Areas of Responsibility

Talent Acquisition & Planning
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, assessment, reference checks, and employment documentation.

  • Partner with hiring managers to provide professional recruitment advice, manpower planning support, and timely hiring updates.

  • Actively explore and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract targeted talent across corporate and retail roles.

  • Prepare recruitment-related administration including salary proposals, pre-employment checks, offer documentation, and onboarding coordination.

  • Maintain and analyse candidate data, recruitment reports, and hiring metrics.

  • Support recruitment activities such as career fairs, hiring campaigns, and employer branding initiatives when required.

HR Operations & Employee Support
  • Support employee relations and disciplinary cases in accordance with the Employment Act and company policies.

  • Assist with workplace injury cases, incident reporting, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

  • Support HR operational tasks including employee documentation and HR administration.

  • Assist in planning and execution of employee engagement activities and company events.

  • Provide general HR support and handle ad-hoc HR duties as assigned by management.


What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • At least 1–3 years of HR or recruitment experience (retail industry experience is a plus).

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Hands-on, proactive, and willing to learn.
