Position: Clinical Psychologist

Location: Punggol

Work Objectives

As an Allied Health Professional, you will play a pivotal role in the Service Excellence Pillar, dedicating the majority of your time to delivering evidence-based clinical care, including assessment, intervention and caregiver support. Working under the guidance of the Senior Practitioner, you will ensure the effective implementation of workflows and strategies that align with team goals. You will also contribute to programme evaluation by providing insights from clinical work to improve service delivery and outcomes. Additionally, you will support the Community Engagement and Awareness & Advocacy Pillars by collaborating on select initiatives to promote mental health awareness and inclusivity. This role emphasises direct client care while fostering recovery, resilience and holistic well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Service Excellence and Clinical Care

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide psychological interventions, including casework management, counselling, psychoeducation, and caregiver support.

  • Collaborate with clients and caregivers to develop and review care plans that address mental, emotional and social well-being.

  • Ensure services are person-centered, trauma-informed, family- and recovery-oriented, consistent with core principles.

  • Implement and review services and activities to ensure alignment with the Service Excellence Pillar and strategic goals.

Holistic and Community-Integrated Care

  • Collaborate with community agencies and stakeholders to deliver holistic and integrated care for clients, including risk management.

  • Participate in key stakeholder meetings (i.e. case reviews) to share insights and strengthen collaborations.

  • Promote trust and inclusivity by reducing barriers to care and engaging underserved populations.

  • Support community outreach and advocacy initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

Administrative and Programmatic Contributions

  • Maintain accurate and timely client records and programme documentation in compliance with data protection guidelines.

  • Contribute to the development, review and enhancement of workflows, outreach strategies and service guidelines to improve care delivery, screening, and follow-up processes.

Professional Development

  • Attend training and supervision sessions as part of ongoing professional development.


Job Requirements

  • Qualifications: Masters in Clinical Psychology

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of direct work experience working with youth and families, preferably in mental health settings.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in clinical assessment, therapeutic relationship-building, counselling, casework management and caregiver support.

    • Strong organisational and administrative skills for maintaining accurate client and programme records.

    • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and community agencies to deliver holistic care.

  • Attributes:
