Position Summary
The position is responsible for managing the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable activities, including invoice issuance, receipt processing, collections, customer account reconciliation, and AR reporting, while also supporting GST submissions, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and other finance-related tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare and issue customer invoices, ensuring accuracy in costing, product grouping, billing details, and supporting documentation.
Match invoices with Delivery Orders (DO) and submit them through the appropriate channels including normal mail, email, customer portals, and e-invoicing platforms.
Verify incoming payments via internet banking and promptly record receipts into SAP to ensure up-to-date AR balances.
Perform timely and accurate posting of receipts, credit notes, and adjustments into the accounting system.
Prepare and process inter-company reimbursement billings in accordance with internal policies.
Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up with customers on overdue payments, and update AR aging and status regularly.
Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, or account-related inquiries.
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly AR reports for management review.
Generate and send monthly Statements of Accounts (SOA) to customers to ensure transparency and timely collections.
Journal Entries
Prepare and post journal entries related to GST, AR adjustments, and other routine month-end closing requirements.
Ensure all journal entries are supported by proper documentation and comply with accounting standards.
Other Responsibilities
Prepare and submit GST returns within the statutory deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate audit confirmations and support external auditors by providing required AR schedules, documents, and explanations.
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and accounting records.
Generate the AR Aging Report and highlight long outstanding items for follow up.
Handle ad-hoc assignments as required by the Finance Manager, including data analysis, account clean-ups, and process improvement tasks.
What will make you successful
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is advantage.
At least 3 - 5 years’ working experience in Finance / Accounting. With manufacturing sector is advantage.
Working knowledge of SAP HANA / FICO modules.
Solid understanding of manufacturing costing principles, inventory accounting, production workflows.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrate good analytical thinking, interpersonal & communication skills.
Strong analysis, planning, Initiative & able to work independently.
Systematic & positive problem-solving approach.
