About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant Production Manager to support our Production Manager in overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing process of premium edible oil. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operations, upholding safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve production excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Production Manager to oversee daily production activities, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and efficient manufacturing of edible oil.

• Coordinate manpower planning, raw materials, and packaging resources to achieve production targets and business objectives.

• Support the achievement of budget, schedule, and quality goals while facilitating collaboration across departments.

• Monitor and analyze production performance, prepare reports, and maintain accurate data in the SAP system.

• Lead and participate in productivity and process improvement initiatives to optimize operations and minimize waste.

• Ensure strict compliance with standard Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, promoting a culture of safety and continuous compliance.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.

• Prior working experience in a manufacturing environment, prefer food industry.

• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations applicable to manufacturing.

• Familiarity with food safety standards and HACCP.

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
