About the role

This is a contract position for a Nominee Director to join the dynamic team at CHANCE CONSULTING (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.'. As a Nominee Director, you will act as director for Chance Consulting's client. This is a contract role that offers the flexibility to work remotely.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as a Nominee Director for a Singapore Company. The nominee director shall provide scanned copies of the front and back of their Singapore Identity Card (IC), a photograph of them holding the IC, and other Know Your Customer (KYC) documents as required by the corporate secretarial firm, such as a resume or curriculum vitae.

• Company Registration in Singapore. The nominee director will be required to sign company registration documents, which can be submitted in scanned form. They must also assist in registering a Corppass account for the Singapore company by scanning a QR code using their Singpass credentials and act as the Corppass account administrator. The term of service as a nominee director is typically one year, commencing from the date of the company’s registration. After the company’s financial year-end, we will contact clients to arrange for the company’s annual filing, at which time the nominee director's fees will be renewed.

• Opening a Corporate Bank Account. For corporate bank account openings, our current partnerships are primarily with OCBC Singapore. Presently, no assistance from the nominee director is required for this process. However, if clients opt to open an account with other local banks in Singapore, the nominee director may need to provide identification documents, complete identity verification via links provided by the bank, or attend in-person interviews at the bank’s branch.

• Assisting with Employment Pass (EP) Applications. If a client requires assistance with applying for a Singapore Employment Pass (EP), the nominee director will need to assist in registering for Corppass and EP e-Service accounts. This involves scanning a QR code using their Singpass credentials. The operational steps for the application will be conducted remotely by our team.

• Facilitating Company Information Updates. If the Singapore company needs to make changes, such as amending the board of directors, shareholders, financial year-end (FYE), registered address, or share capital, or if it needs to file annual returns or financial reports, the nominee director must assist by logging into Corppass using their Singpass credentials and facilitating remote operations on their device conducted by our team.
