Purpose of the Job:

Support Digital Systems Business Area, specifically finance lead for a Business Unit, and operating units related Financial Profitability & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Controlling projects and tasks.

Job Description:

• ST Engineering Finance operates with Shared Services structure where Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Treasury, Tax, Reporting/Consolidation workstreams are centralized.

• As Finance lead, Finance Business Partner

• Main “go to” finance person to interface and advise business leaders (HoDs) on full spectrum of broad Finance areas including and not limited to any business topics affecting financial performance, managing net working capital, treasury, taxation, new business ventures, etc.

• Management reporting and KPI measurement for financial targets to be aligned with business outcomes, financial reporting and net working capital management

• Coordinate and Lead for Forecast and Planning including 5-year Plan

• Liaise with auditors both internal and external

• Be well versed in Financial Reporting Standards and it is critical be able to apply the FRSs for the respective financial books under purview

• Be finance advisor/counsel to the senior leadership on major investment financial decisions, including the ability to interpret and decipher ROI, IRR, NPV etc. amongst different options.

• Ensure Tax computation and submission aligned with tax accounting

• Cash flow projection 

• Continuous improvement projects – to support the business

• Ad hoc projects as assigned

Technical Skills Required

• Hands on and familiar with Project Management / WBS in SAP

• Handling/Analyze Thousands of WBS data regularly

• Strong in Hyperion and SAP

• Doing multiple high quality Powerpoint/ Presentation (above 20 slides) to Upper Management with very tight deadlines

• Contract Assets/ Contract Liabilities

• Return on Capital Employed (RoCE) concept

• Orderbook concept

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications

• At least >5 years of Financial Accounting and Business Controlling

• Proficient with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, SAP

• Knowledge on SAP Project Costing/ WBS settlement will be preferred

• Strong business acumen, analytical skills and sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements

• Able to work independently under high pressure with very limited resources

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Deliver task on time with quality as requested

• Willing to work OT and during weekends (in order to meet the deadlines)

• Able to demonstrate thorough analytical skills process

• Able to think and work independently with minimum but clear guidance
