As a Project Management Executive / Project Support Executive, you will provide day-to-day project management and administrative support for communications systems projects, supporting NCS’s project management team while remaining flexible to be deployed to the client site as backfill for an operations-monitoring team when required. You will coordinate project documentation, track deliverables, and support vendor and contract management to ensure systems meet agreed service levels. The role also involves overseeing system health, security and change management activities, supporting audits and procurement processes, and providing technical coordination and advice related to telecommunications and IP network operations.
What will you do?
Project Management & Administration
· Provide day-to-day project support, coordination, and documentation
· Track project deliverables, milestones, and action items
· Support project scope definition and recommendations
· Review operation and maintenance manuals
· Support change and service request reviews and implementation
Client & Site Support
· Act as backfill Project Executive for operations-monitoring team at client site when required
· Respond to technical queries from customers
· Provide technical advice and recommendations to stakeholders
· Support security clearance submissions for vendors
Vendor & Contract Management
· Oversee vendor performance for system management and O&M activities
· Support contract management and compliance with SLAs
· Coordinate with vendors on service delivery, maintenance, and issue resolution
Systems Operations & Service Management
· Monitor system health and operational status
· Support OS, software, and firmware patching activities
· Manage equipment obsolescence planning
· Support site operations and system availability
Network & Technical Support
· Support fault isolation, troubleshooting, and rectification activities
· Coordinate Network Management System (NMS) monitoring and usage
· Provide support related to mobile networks (CORE, RAN, RF) and IP networking
Security & Compliance
· Support security monitoring and tracking activities
· Manage and support physical Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
· Support annual audits, including spare assets audits
· Ensure compliance with security and operational requirements
Procurement & Asset Management
· Support procurement-related activities
· Assist with spare parts and asset inventory management
· Support annual audits of spare assets
The ideal candidate should possess:
· Strong foundational knowledge of project management principles and practices
· Basic to intermediate technical understanding of telecommunications systems, including mobile networks (CORE, RAN, RF)
· Good understanding of IP networking and routing technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS/VPN)
· Familiarity with common TCP/IP-based services (DNS, DHCP, TFTP, SSH, SMTP)
· Analytical and troubleshooting skills for technical fault isolation and resolution
· Working knowledge of Network Management Systems
· Strong coordination, communication, and vendor management skills
· Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively at client sites and in dynamic environments
Good to Have
· CCNP / CCIP / CCSP or equivalent networking certifications
· Knowledge of 4G EPC Core, RAN, and/or Radio Frequency
· Exposure to network automation, Python, and Ansible
· Prior experience supporting operations-monitoring or NOC environments
· Other relevant IT or telecommunications industry certifications
