Responsibilities:

• To work at distillation process plant to make sure distil spent waste material into product

• To ensure distillation process plant operates in safe operation parameters

• To ensure the safety of the transferring of the flammable material

• To ensure close co-ordination with the Laboratory for waste/product sampling

• To ensure the following up of the SOP

• To co-ordinate closely with the Laboratory & resale team for the re-sell items

• To ensure there is sufficient storage capacity, and the product safely stored and treated

• To ensure the performance and efficiency of distillation process plant in terms of the recovery yield and utilities consumption

• Startup/shut down operation of distillation process plant according to SOP

• Record process data and report any deviations

• Identify and rectify process upset and equipment malfunction timely

• Work with engineering to resolve equipment issues and implement preventive measures

• Conduct routine inspections for leaks, spills, and safety hazards

• Ensure safe handling of materials that are flammable

• To participate training program to enhance chemical and safety knowledge

• To cover the 5S and safety job for the department
  

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field

• Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, internet research)

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work as a team
