About the role

As a Senior PLC Engineer at ACUTE AUTOMATION PTE. LTD., you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of state-of-the-art industrial automation solutions. Based in our North Region office, this full-time position will see you working on complex PLC programming, system integration, and maintenance tasks to support the company's growth and deliver innovative products to our clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Design, develop, and implement PLC control systems for a variety of industrial applications

2. Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems using industry-standard software

3. Integrate PLC systems with other automation components, including sensors, motors, and drives

4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing PLC-based systems

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met

6. Continuously research and implement the latest PLC technologies and best practices

7. Maintain documentation and provide training to production and maintenance personnel

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field

2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a PLC programmer or automation engineer

3. Proficient in programming and configuring PLCs, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric

4. Hands-on experience in industrial automation, including HMI, SCADA, and drive integration

5. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

6. Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders

7. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest PLC technologies, standards, and industry regulations
