Assembly / Setup Technician / Electrician (Automated Machinery) - Basic + Bonus - #1129555

Salary: Up to $3,200 + Bonus
Location: Woodlands
Working Days: 5 Days (Mon–Fri)

We are expanding our team and looking for motivated individuals to join us in the assembly and commissioning of automated machinery. If you have hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical assembly or machine setup, we’d love to hear from you!

Assembly Technician

• Perform mechanical assembly of automated machines and equipment based on engineering drawings.

• Install components such as motors, actuators, brackets, gears, frames, and sensors.

• Conduct basic alignment, calibration, and fitting works.

• Support fabrication tasks such as drilling, tapping, cutting, and simple machining.

• Assist engineers during prototyping, testing, and improvement processes.

• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the assembly work area.

Setup Technician

• Perform on-site setup, installation, and commissioning of automated machinery.

• Conduct machine calibration, testing, and troubleshooting during setup.

• Work closely with engineers to ensure all machine functions meet operational requirements.

• Configure mechanical, electrical, and sensor systems during installation.

• Provide technical support during machine startup at customer sites.

• Carry out adjustments and fine-tuning to optimize machine performance.

• Prepare setup reports and ensure proper documentation.

Electrician

• Perform electrical wiring and panel assembly for automated equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

• Install and connect electrical components such as sensors, PLC modules, motors, relays, and control units.

• Conduct electrical continuity checks, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

• Work closely with mechanical and setup teams to integrate electrical systems.

• Assist in commissioning and resolving electrical faults during machine startup.

Requirements :

• Relevant NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.

• Hands-on experience in machine assembly, installation, or electrical wiring (depending on role).

• Ability to read engineering or electrical drawings.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
