QC Technician (West/Solar Cell Manufacturing) - #1129477

Job Descriptions:

1. Incoming Material Inspection

• Perform quality checks on incoming raw materials such as wafers, pastes, glass, encapsulants, and metal contacts.

• Verify supplier certificates and ensure materials meet required specifications before production use.

2. In-Process Quality Control

• Conduct routine inspections and testing at key production stages

• Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Identify process deviations, report abnormalities to engineers, and support corrective actions.

3. Solar Cell Testing & Measurement

• Operate metrology and characterization tools such as microscope, thickness gauges, and reflectometers.

• Evaluate defects such as micro-cracks, scratches, contamination, and pattern misalignment

• Conduct outgoing inspection on completed solar cells or modules to ensure conformance to specifications

• Verify electrical performance, visual quality, and physical integrity before shipment.

Job Requirements:

• Nitec / Diploma in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

• 1–2 years of QC or manufacturing experience (solar or semiconductor industry is a plus).

• Basic understanding of inspection methods and quality control procedures.

• Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and following safety protocols.
