HSEQ & Training Officer - #1129255

Responsibilities:

• Providing general administration support to the HSEQ Manager to coordinate, administer and monitor HSE education and training.

• Support shipboard validation programme, verify the effectiveness of safety management system implementation.

• Responsible for monitoring HSE programmes (seminar, campaign, workshop) and completion of reports and required filing.

• Manage programmes such as safe system of work, injury/illness/incident reporting and investigation, risk assessment/hazard identification and hazard assessment.

• Prepare HSEQ reports by collecting, analyzing data and trends, maintain HSEQ statistics, and submit reports as required.

• Maintain HSE and training statistics database and perform HSEQ data entry into SharePoint, all HSQE compliance data, including monitoring the timely close outs of non-conformities and corrective actions, and crew drug and alcohol test results.

• Maintain HSEQ department manuals/files/record/library.

• Support and set up all internal and external audits, inspection activities and inquiries, ensuring validity of certificates.

• Assisting with HSEQ meetings including agendas and minutes.

• Any other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in marine engineering or similar field (maritime or engineering majors are preferred)

• At least 2 years’ work experience in oil trading industry and in similar role

• Meticulous, diligent and professional

• Good drafting and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Words and Excel
