(UP$19/hr) Mandarin Language Translator | 3 Months | Remote Work - #1129218

• 3 months (renewable based on performance and business needs)

• S$14.00 per hour + S$5 per hour (WFH Allowance)

• Fully Work from Home (within SG Region)

• 5 days across Monday to Sunday

• 8 hours shift between 9pm to 9am (based on roster)

• Stable Home WiFi (cable modem, DSL, fibre optics)

• Smartphone, iPad or laptop (either one will do, Huawei & Kaspersky is prohibited)

Job Requirements

• Fluent in both English & Mandarin to provide the translation service for US and China stakeholders.

• Remain neutral and calm during audio interpreting sessions in the event.

• Exhibit excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure a high level of accuracy in interpretations.

• Provide strict renditions of the messages including every detail of the conversation and is prepared for challenging calls at any time.

• Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.

• Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation and polite expressions.

• Able to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with the permission or at request of the client
