Cable Assembly Technician - #1129170

Job description:

Assembly & Production

Assemble and route wires, cables, and connectors to create harnesses per drawings and specifications.

Crimp terminals, solder connections, and apply heat-shrink tubing as needed.

Measure and cut wires to specified lengths using appropriate tools.

Bundle and secure wiring using ties, lacing, or other approved methods.

Install connectors, contacts, backshells, and strain relief components.

Documentation & Compliance

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions.

Accurately complete production paperwork, work orders, and traceability records.

Ensure all components meet quality and regulatory requirements.

Quality & Testing

Perform continuity testing and visual inspections on completed harnesses.

Identify defects and ensure timely rework or reporting of issues.

Follow quality standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 (if applicable).

Tools & Safety

Use hand tools and equipment such as crimpers, stripping tools, cutters, soldering irons, and multimeters. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.

Other information:

• Working Hours : 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)

• Location : Changi North

• Company Bus : Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
