Job description
The Finance cum HR Manager is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and human resource functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Singapore regulations, and effective HR operations. This role supports management in strategic planning, budgeting, talent management, and organisational development.
Job responsibilities
Finance Responsibilities
Financial Accounting and Reporting
1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
2. Oversee year-end audit and liaise with external auditors.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
1. Manage cash flow, banking matters, and fund transfers.
2. Ensure optimal working capital management.
Accounts Payable/Receivable & GST
1. Oversee AP, AR, invoicing, and credit control.
2. Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings to IRAS.
Compliance & Internal Controls
1. Ensure proper internal controls and financial policies.
2. Liaise with tax agent for corporate tax filing.
Human Resource Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
1. Oversee HR functions including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
2. Maintain employee records and HR documents.
3. Manage work pass administration.
Payroll & Benefits
1. Process monthly payroll for 2 branches in Singapore, about 6 pax.
2. Ensure compliance with MOM, CPF Board, IRAS (IR8A/IR21).
3. Administer employee benefits, insurance, and leave management.
4. Manage full recruitment cycle, including conduct interviews.
Employee Relations
1. Handle employee grievances, counselling, and disciplinary actions.
Job Requirements
Ø Degree / Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business, HRM or equivalent.
Ø At least 5 years of relevant experience in both Finance and HR roles.
Ø Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and HR legislation.
Ø Proficient in MS Excel, accounting software (Odoo).
Ø Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
Ø Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Experience in SME with multi-function roles.
Ø Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Ø Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams with China partnership.
Ø Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and adaptability.
Ø Experience in Malaysia operation is preferred as company may set up office in JB.
