What You Will Do
Lead the Operation Department to achieve efficient and effective delivery of products with the highest quality, best speed, and lowest cost to support company business objectives.
Manage the Manufacturing Cell and lead a team of up to 30 Technicians.
Engage and empower the production supervisors and technicians to ensure full compliance to various requirements to achieve quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production output commitment for on-time delivery every time.
Operate each production cell as a profit/loss cell to maximize value performance for the organization and achieve all set KPIs.
Interact with the various business functions in problem-solving, achieve cell goals and company’s objectives.
Provide coaching and performance feedback to the shop floor employees.
Review staffing and training needs including hiring, retaining, and developing talent.
Leverage on CORE to lead, initiate, and implement continuous improvement for established processes for further improvement of quality, speed, and cost.
Set up standard work for all production processes to complement work instruction for each product production process.
Initiate detail planning, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes involving preparation, and evaluation of manufacturing processes including detail method of instructions, time standards, CNC programming, tooling, fixture and equipment.
Participate in project management for all new product implementations that involve cost estimation, scheduling, equipment specification with Engineering and other functions.
Participate and support company-wide EH&S, Quality, Export Compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Require to be deployed on shifts to support operations on need basis.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent disciplines.
Min 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in precision metal machining & processing and/or assemblies of parts in the Aerospace industry.
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Experience using SAP or equivalent enterprise systems.
Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications We Prefer
Relevant experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing or MRO.
Knowledge of advanced precision metal processing, CNC programming for milling, grinding, turning, wire cut operations, inspection system like CMM and/ or advance blue light inspection.
