Our client is a leading Japanese multinational corporation specializing in the supply of high-quality tools and equipment. They are looking for an Assistant Chef for their internal canteen.

【Responsibilities】
- Assist the Chef with dish creation, preparation, menu planning, and implementation of new recipes.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and cost control.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all dishes.
- Monitor and limit wastage, manage portion control, and ensure cost effectiveness of food ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance with food regulations. (NEA/SFA)
- Flexible to assist in other kitchen duties when needed.
- Perform other Ad-hoc meal preparation/duties assigned by management.

【What you will receive】
- Completion Bonus: 1 month

1st year - 14 days,
2nd year - 15 days,
3rd year - 16 days,
4th year - 18 days
5th year - 21 days
*Up to a maximum of 21 days, and staff can bring forward a maximum of 14 days
- Medical Leave: 14 days
- Overtime Allowance (Claimable)

【Requirements & Preferences】

(Must)
- Candidate should have at least 1-2 years of working experience in a professional kitchen environment (e.g., corporate canteen, restaurant, or hotel) and Asian dishes (not fast food)
- Possess valid WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 certification.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations, costs, and maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
- Able to fulfill ad-hoc meal preparation/duties assigned by management.
- Comfortable to be on a yearly contractual basis and perform OT when required (OT is claimable)

(Advantageous)
- Experience working in a Japanese company
