Manager, Logistics - #1128680

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire logistics function and warehouse of the company and will act as the primary interface between the company and service providers / suppliers.

• Run and manage delivery team in an effective and efficient manner.

• Organize the logistics team to meet with changes in business needs.

• Develop, lead and follow established policies and procedures; promote quality management and continuous improvement of operations in order to achieve cost effective performance goals.

• Establish Key Performance Indicators to drive and measure service providers’ performances to enhance business process efficiency across operating entities.

• Monitoring and improving the operations to meet delivery performance standards. Implement inventory control methods and procedures to meet on-time deliveries.

• Responsible for the accountability and well condition of the inventory.

• Regular report, update and analysis of inventory status and operation performance.

• Examine invoices and ensure conformity to agreed rates, tariff and customs regulations.

• Ensuring compliance to domestic and international shipping laws.

• Optimizing all relevant logistics processes and assets utilization

• Planning of warehouse utilization

• Ensure order / fulfillment accuracy

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Logistics and/or Supply Chain or related field.

• 7 Years relevant experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, order processing and customer service.

• Supervisory experience needed

• Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills

• Good analytical skills

• Able to work under pressure / perform to deadlines and solve problems

• Candidates who possessed various class of driving license will have an added advantage
