About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Home Appliances Repair & Servicing Technician to join our service team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining household appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and other consumer electronic products. This role requires both technical knowledge and strong customer service skills to ensure effective servicing and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

·       Collect spare parts from the warehouse based on daily job orders indicated on the service tablet.

·       Troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of home appliances (e.g. washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, ovens, dishwashers).

·       Perform installation and servicing of appliances when required.

·       Carry out preventive maintenance to improve appliance performance and lifespan.

·       Communicate with clients to explain issues, solutions and provide post-job updates.

·       Ensure proper care and safe-keeping of hand tools, spare parts and service equipment.

·       Prepare detailed service reports for customer’s acknowledgement.

·       Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices and wear PPE when necessary.

·       Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.

·       Handle any ad-hoc projects and duties assigned by reporting manager and/or management.

Qualifications and Requirements

·       Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage.

·       Minimum Nitec / NTC 2 or 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electronic fields.

·       At least 1 year of relevant experience in servicing home appliances OR consumer electronic products.

·       Strong technical troubleshooting and repair skills.

·       Good interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive attitude.

·       Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

·       Candidates without experience are welcome to join as apprentices (training provided)
