Early Intervention Teacher | up to $3500 | 5 Day Work Week - #1128546

Join the team to support young learners through personalised, evidence-based early intervention programmes. You will work closely with families and allied health professionals to help children achieve meaningful developmental progress.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct admissions and initial screenings for new clients

• Plan and implement evidence-based intervention programmes tailored to each child’s needs

• Prepare lesson plans, IEPs, curriculum maps and individualised instructional strategies

• Track, document and report students’ academic, social, emotional and behavioural progress

• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure safety and wellbeing of all students

• Record behaviour documentation and session notes independently

• Update parents regularly on progress (text/photos/videos)

• Maintain accurate student records and liaise with parents and school staff

• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists & Psychologists during team meetings

• Develop and implement social/emotional/behavioural interventions

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) or equivalent

• Degree in Psychology or related fields may be considered

• Minimum 1 year experience working with children aged 18 months–6 years with learning disorders/disabilities

• Experience in Early Intervention or Special Needs settings is an advantage

• Strong English communication and good organisational skills

• Independent yet collaborative team player

• Knowledge of AEPS is an advantage
