Early Intervention Teacher | up to $3500 | 5 Day Work Week - #1128546

Join the team to support young learners through personalised, evidence-based early intervention programmes. You will work closely with families and allied health professionals to help children achieve meaningful developmental progress.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct admissions and initial screenings for new clients
Plan and implement evidence-based intervention programmes tailored to each child’s needs
Prepare lesson plans, IEPs, curriculum maps and individualised instructional strategies
Track, document and report students’ academic, social, emotional and behavioural progress
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure safety and wellbeing of all students
Record behaviour documentation and session notes independently
Update parents regularly on progress (text/photos/videos)
Maintain accurate student records and liaise with parents and school staff
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists & Psychologists during team meetings
Develop and implement social/emotional/behavioural interventions
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) or equivalent
Degree in Psychology or related fields may be considered
Minimum 1 year experience working with children aged 18 months–6 years with learning disorders/disabilities
Experience in Early Intervention or Special Needs settings is an advantage
Strong English communication and good organisational skills
Independent yet collaborative team player
Knowledge of AEPS is an advantage
