Senior/ Assistant Manager, Grant Management - #1128176

You are required to:
Oversee the grant management tracking system (REDCAP) to ensure real-time accuracy of all grant data including Letters of Award, variations, milestones, and deliverables.
Conduct quarterly grant health checks to identify potential risks, delays, or compliance issues before they impact funding.
Develop and implement standardised grant management processes that reduce administrative burden while maintaining audit readiness.
Provide accurate manpower cost projections for grant applications, ensuring competitive yet realistic budget proposals that support successful funding outcomes.
Execute real-time budget monitoring and variance analysis, identifying and addressing cost overruns or underspends, and lead the annual budgeting exercise for grant-funded positions, providing strategic insights on manpower costs trends and funding efficacy.
Manage complex staff cost allocations across multiple grants, ensuring accurate charging and compliance with funder cost-sharing requirements and ensure seamless monthly payroll processing for all grant-funded staff, promptly identify and correcting any errors in salary calculations, deductions, and statutory contributions.
Generate and maintain comprehensive payroll reports including BAM IO reports, CE billing reports, manpower listing report and bonus provision analyses to support financial decision-making.
Support external grant audits with comprehensive documentation, provide responsive assistance to internal stakeholders including researchers and management teams, and develop executive dashboards for data-driven grant portfolio decisions.
Prepare regular management reports on grant performance and manpower utilisation, conduct in-depth analysis of cost trends to identify patterns and risks, and develop predictive models for expenditure and manpower requirements to enhance strategic budget planning.
Implement comprehensive quality control measures across grant management processes, maintain current knowledge of funder requirements and best practices, develop risk mitigation strategies for compliance and operations, and ensure robust documentation standards for business continuity and audit readiness.
Job Requirements
Degree holder with strong analytical capabilities.
Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
Meticulous with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
High standard of integrity and ethical conduct.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a collaborative approach to stakeholder management.
Strong coordination and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
