Responsibilities

• Define and document equipment process requirements and specifications.
• Perform process characterization and optimize machine performance to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to review and streamline internal buy-off specifications.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance equipment capabilities.
• Support manufacturing and assembly teams by troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
• Work with customers and internal teams to resolve process challenges and recommend technical solutions.
• Conduct data analysis using statistical tools (SPC, DOE) and perform process capability studies.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to engineers and technicians for optimal equipment performance.
• Calculate UPH (units per hour) projections based on process parameters.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an equipment manufacturing environment; semiconductor machinery experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge in process design, control, and optimization; experience in die-sorting, vision inspection, or laser marking is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SPC, DOE, and other statistical analysis tools.
• Knowledge of cycle time calculation and material science is an added advantage.
• Strong interest in developing new manufacturing processes and equipment applications.
