Customer Service Associate (1-Year Contract, Potential for Conversion)

Location: Paya Lebar MRT | Salary: Up to $3,500/month
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

This role requires participation in a monthly rotating standby schedule on weekends and public holidays, with one weekend per month on duty. Standby allowance provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process quotations, purchase orders, and sales orders accurately and efficiently.

• Manage Customer Consignment Programs and maintain inventory levels.

• Ensure timely deliveries to internal customers (engineers) and external clients, coordinating closely with customers, vendors, and engineers to meet deadlines.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer price books and documentation filing systems.

• Handle and resolve customer and business partner inquiries professionally.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant customer service experience.

• Familiarity with Oracle or SAP systems is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of Japanese is a plus, as regular communication with headquarters and factories in Japan is required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Meticulous, organized, resourceful, and able to work independently.

• Willingness to participate in monthly rotating standby schedule on weekends and public holidays.
